An application has been filed in the court for a ban on tik tok


A civil miscellaneous petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court seeking an immediate ban on the popular mobile phone video application Tik Tak.

According to the Dawn newspaper, Advocate Nadeem Sarwar filed the petition on behalf of a citizen, who is also a petitioner of the Central Appeal pending in the court.

The lawyer argued that the main petition against Tuck Tuck had not yet been set for hearing as it was a very important matter.

He said that more than 10 people using this application have died in the country.

In addition, it was said that the video-sharing application is becoming a means of spreading pornography for ratings and fame on social media.

In the petition, he also mentioned the recent incident in which a girl was gang-raped by a group of friends on Tik Tak.

He appealed to the court that the video application is a great tribulation of the modern age, adding that the application has already been banned in Bangladesh and Malaysia for pornography, inappropriate content, and making fun of people. Is gone

It may be recalled that in the last few days, it was reported that a girl along with a friend had allegedly gang-raped the girl within the limits of Millat Park Police Station in Lahore.
In her application for registration of the case, the girl had stated that she used to make and upload videos on Tik Tak where she had befriended a man named Shiraz 20 days ago.

Keep in mind that the popular video-sharing application Tik Tak is very popular in many countries of the world including Pakistan and people of all ages keep uploading their videos on it.
However, many tragic incidents have also come to light regarding the video on this app, in which many lives have been lost due to being hit by a train or being shot while making a tick-tock video.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had recently banned the popular game Pub G among the youth in the country, which drew a strong reaction from the youth and some social media personalities.
